Group Swim Lessons for Beginner Swimmers
*A group lessons program offered to beginner swimmers in very shallow water. FINS coaches will work with swimmers in a group setting to further swimmers’ comfort level in and around the water, help develop and strengthen general water safety skills, and learn the basic components to a successful freestyle.
*Great program for swimmers just beginning to learn to kick and blow bubbles, as well as for those who have begun to take a few strokes and submerge underwater and are ready to make strides towards learning a more proper freestyle. Swimmers will play games with their coaches and teammates & receive organized technical instruction.

Note: Parents are able to view the pool and session from a designated seating area or from outside of the facility, but are not allowed to be in close proximity to the practice. Group Swim Lessons for Beginner Swimmers
*A group lessons program offered to beginner swimmers who feel comfortable in deeper water. FINS coaches will work with swimmers in a group setting to further swimmers’ comfort level in and around the water, while learning the main components to a successful freestyle and backstroke.
*Great program for swimmers who are able to move forward through the water without a kickboard or flotation device, but who are still in the early stages of understanding arm, leg, and head movements as they relate to freestyle. Practices take place in a 15-meter section of the pool, and do not require swimmers to be able to swim a full-length of the pool. Swimmers in this group have begun to take strokes, are comfortable briefly submerging underwater, and are ready to make strides towards learning a more proper freestyle and backstroke. Breastroke and Butterfly movements will also be reviewed as swimmers progress.
*In order to participate, swimmers must be toilet trained and willing to enter into the deeper areas of the pool without a parent on deck. This program will offer 35 minute practices at a multitude of times throughout the day Monday through Sunday. Excellent coach to swimmer ratio!
Note: Swimmers are surrounded by coaches on deck and in water at all times. Parents will be able to view the pool from outside the facility or from a designated seating area. Those more advanced Seahorses swimmers who display an ability to transition to the main pool and are comfortable swimming full lengths of the pool will be able to transition into more advanced groupings after being evaluated during practice.
