FINS COACHES

Drew Fisher

FINS Head Coach

Coach Drew grew up swimming in the Montgomery County Swim League (MCSL) as a member of the Country Glen Sundevils. Coach Drew swam for Country Glen for 14 years, became an Assistant Coach at age 19, and would go on to coach for 6 seasons as the Sundevils will rise to Division B for their first time in the MCSL. At the high school level, Coach Drew was a captain of the Winston Churchill High School swim team, where they were county champions his last two years. After high school, Coach Drew went on to The University of Maryland where he swam primarily the 100 Backstroke and 200 Backstroke for the Terps swim team. Drew’s favorite swimming memories are winning the 200 backstroke at MCSL’s Coaches Longcourse, the endless amounts of victories his Country Glen coaches’ relays claimed, building spirit props for the Sundevils, and being able to race his friends. Coach Drew has been coaching FINS for the last 3 years, where he hopes to bring the spirited MCSL swimming atmosphere to FINS year-round training.
